The two person desk: two sit stand desks on one frame

A two person desk, or duo desk, puts two workplaces face to face on one frame. It saves legs, floor space and cables, as long as each side can still go up and down on its own.

Why one frame instead of two desks

Two separate desks pushed together have eight legs, two sets of cables and a gap where things fall through. A duo desk shares the frame and the cable tray, so the floor stays clearer and the cables have one place to go.

The condition: each side needs its own height adjustment. Two people rarely agree on a height, and they should not have to.

Two ways to do it

The Future Duo Desk is two Future Desks on one shared frame, 1690 millimetres wide, with a central cable tray in between. Each side rises and falls on its own, and it can be ordered with or without a separation screen.

The Classic Duo Sit-Stand Desk joins two four legged desks into one frame, each with electric height adjustment from 630 to 1170 millimetres, with an upholstered screen between them. Lengths from 1400 to 1800 millimetres per side.

Screen or no screen

A screen between the two sides helps with focus and gives a little acoustic calm. Without it, the desk feels more open and suits teams that talk a lot. Because everything is the same grey, a separation screen can be added later without the desk looking patched.
